Greetings, my friends:

I am off to Florida for a family visit, a birthday January 21, and a number of speaking engagements. I am looking forward to seeing dear ones that I rarely get to spend time with, so it will be fun. I am out of the Village from Jan. 20-Feb 4th late in the day. After that I will try to plug back in to the local adventures.

Some of you know that Linda Oliver had a fall and broke her hip. She is home and coming along, but this has been a blow to us because Linda has been taking a load off of me and others. She is a well-organized, well-loved, manager, so we are all doing what we can for her until she can return to duty.

I have been asked more than once about the energy of 2009. Just think. It is an 11 year, and that tells us a lot. It is a year of decision making for all of us. Double numbers (my life is a 22) means we walk the razor’s edge — we have to practice a lot of discernment and cannot stray too far from the middle road path.

To me the 11 offers us a step toward a higher consciousness worldwide. It is a spiritual number so perhaps we can think of it this way: we need to put our efforts where our mouth is! Can we actualize the spiritual consciousness, we speak of , the ethics, and the new vision of which we have dreamed?

Obama keeps saying “everyone must sacrifice.” I believe him. I think he (this year) will present challenges to the materialism in which we live and call us to accountability in many ways. As I say this, I think, can you, and are you ready to support the spiritual work of Light of Christ and Sancta Sophia? This is one way. Are you ready to do the inner work, the prayer work, the staying centered effort that is required?

I watch myself carefully and two times recently I have “lost it” I have thrown up my hands and been totally disgusted with simple things that are unnecessary hassles. Or are they? Should I have not gone past my fatigue or boundary and just not done something, or in my efforts to push on, fail to be the person I want to be? Yes, I did just that, but I have certainly given it afterthought. On the other hand where is the point where we say, “enough!?” I was ready to say “the enough.” That is what I did, but I wish I had handled it better. That is the error.

See what I mean? This is like the 11 or 22 or the double number moment we shall see 2009 provide over and over to individuals, to nations, to humanity.

11 years are of a light vibration, to help humanity, powerful and similar to a postgraduate course…The tendency is to swing from high to low, from spiritual to materialism, practical to impractical. The need is to stay with the higher 11 and not drop down to 2 and just do service to humanity without visionary ability.

Let’s all ponder this.
